300-Level IBBUL Student Dies in Suspected Suicide Over House Rent Dispute in Niger State

A 300-level student of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL) in Niger State has reportedly d!ed in what authorities suspect to be a case of su!cide linked to a house rent dispute.

According to local sources, the student, said to be a native of Suleja, was residing in an off-campus lodge where he also served as a caretaker and was responsible for collecting rent from other occupants of the building.
Trouble allegedly started when the lodge owner requested for the rent, but the student could not provide the money, a situation that reportedly caused him severe distress and may have contributed to the tragic outcome.

Some sources also claimed the student may have lost the money to betting, while a handwritten note was reportedly discovered at the scene as security agencies were notified to begin a full investigation.
