The popular Nigerian gospel singer advised that people should not become the type who only spends money when it is stolen or mistakenly misplaced, stressing that such behaviour reflects a dangerous level of selfishness.

According to him, the same people who rarely give are often the ones who will constantly lecture generous individuals on the “right way” to give, even though they do not practice generosity themselves.
